EPTechnologies is a complete marine propulsion provider for electric and hybrid vessels.
We guide the customers through the process of turning dreams into real hybrid and electric vessels, offering the highest quality solutions that makes economical sense.
With us you get all out of one hand, from our in-house lithium-ion batteries, DC-generators and sail /shaft or Z / Jet drives and it’s all controlled by our own truster control and EMS / PMS software systems.
As experienced sailors and boat owners, we understand the daily challenges and design our systems with backup options, prioritizing simplicity. For larger systems, we incorporate double communication lines and system controllers with backup functions.
We leverage our vast network and skilled partners to address any tasks beyond our capabilities in-house.
We design and manufacture Lithium NCM and solid state battery technology batteries 24-800 VDC.
EPT lithium batteries are available in two technologies, 12 VDC in LiFePO4 and 24 & 48 VDC in NMC, with a nominal capacity from 52 to 150 Ah (2-2.8 kWh).
Our batteries are the lightest and safest in the marine industry.
For remote vessel control, we’ve acquired the BoatControl App, known for its easy installation, adaptability, and intuitive operation.
We design and manufacture saildrives and powerboat systems, emphasizing ease of use, exceptional performance, and sleek design.

Vision
EPTechnologies aims to be the leading manufacturer of electric boats and Jet-, Z-, or Shaft-drives for the pleasure boat market, offering complete systems from 30 kW to 300 kW.
We also seek to dominate the medium-sized pleasure and ferry market with complete electric or hybrid solutions for vessels from 12 m to 80 m.
Our focus is on technical innovation, simplicity in design, and cost-effective propulsion systems while ensuring top-quality products.
Additionally, we are committed to a comprehensive life-cycle strategy for batteries, including ethical and eco-friendly recycling practices.

Kasper Falkenberg
Owner and founder
Main areas: System Design, Motors & Controllers.
Kasper has been in the field of electric propulsion for over 18 years. He is known for his reliability and profound knowledge of the Systems at use. He founded EPTechnologies in 2013.
He has a background in Electric and Electronic engineering.
Marco Ottiker
Owner
Main areas: System Design and Battery Architecture.
Marco, who teamed up with Kasper in fall 2018, has more than 35 years of boating experience. As a long time boat owner himself, he knows the problems appearing on a daily basis. He believes in systems designed with back-ups.
He has a background in Electric and Electronic engineering.
